ENH thinks small with new bitumen emulsion plant

Specialist bitumen plant manufacturer ENH has launched a mini in-line emulsion plant with a capacity of between 2 and 4 tonnes an hour. This contrasts with ENH’s usual size of plant which produces around 50 tonnes an hour. “It’s very mobile which means you can move it around and make the emulsion where you need it,” says ENH managing director Erik Haugaard.

Engcon highlights Generation 2 tiltrotators, including EC214

Engcon, celebrating its 25th birthday at INTERMAT 2015, has been highlighting its new Generation 2 tiltrotators, including the new EC214. The EC214 is the fifth model in Generation 2, the others being the EC206, EC209, EC219 and EC226, and it is for use on excavators weighing between 9-14 tonnes. The company says that Generation 2 tiltrotators now cover the entire range of excavators from 3.5-26 tonnes, and are also used on backhoe loaders.
Dynatest’s new HPIC boosts hydraulic power

Finnish hydraulic power specialist Dynatest launched the HPIC (hydraulic pressure intensifier for cylinders) at INTERMAT 2015. Aimed at hydraulic demolition tools, it boosts power by a factor of 2.18. “We have designed it for crushers which need power to crack the concrete,” explains area sales manager Hughes Lambert. “That’s when you need the additional power.” Dynatest is aiming the new product at manufacturers of heavy duty demolition tools.
D&A Heavy Industries launch quartet of breakers at INTERMAT 2015

Korean company D&A Heavy Industries has unveiled four new hydraulic breakers at INTERMAT 2015. The models – D&A 650V, D&A 700V, D&A 750V, and D&A 1200V - range from 10-22tonnes in operating weight and are for excavator sizes 45-80tonnes, 58-100tonnes, 60-100tonnes, and 85-140tonnes respectively.

Sweden’s Combi Wear Parts is extending its range of teeth, adapters and accessories for machines in the construction, mining and quarrying industries. At the smallest end, the company has introduced the W09 set of parts aimed at excavators in the widely used 25-35 tonnes range. Later in 2015, Combi plans to introduce a set of teeth, adapters and accessories at the largest end of its range for excavators of 300 tonnes and above.
VF Venieri unveils sexy new shape at INTERMAT

Loader manufacturer VF Venieri has been keen to showcase its Italian style at Intermat 2015. At the centre of its stand, sporting a remodelled bonnet - complete with spoiler - and a sleek new cab shape was a prototype of the new 5.63C loader. “Our machines are working tools, but who is to say that the eyes cannot be satisfied too?” asks Giovanni Rava, who looks after exports and logistics for VF Venieri. “We have to show the Venieri style: we do it our way.”
