Improved controls will help boost drilling performance for Sandvik’s new surface rigs
Designed for surface blasthole drilling, the new Pantera DPi models benefit from a redesigned control system. Equipped with an updated user interface and touch screen, the rigs are said to be easier to operate, as well as offering operators the chance to deliver higher performance. Featuring the latest user interface style from 325 Sandvik, support for new drill rig options and improved troubleshooting functions, the new control system can help boost drillhole accuracy, a key factor in reducing waste and costs in the quarrying or rock removal sectors.

There are two models in the Pantera DPi drill rig range: the Pantera DP1100i for hole sizes of 89 – 140 mm; the Pantera DP1500i for hole sizes of 102 –152 mm.
