Concrete pumping at Chinese bridge

Two XCMG HB41K truck-mounted concrete pumps have successfully completed construction of box girders for the Nanning-Guangzhou bridge. The work carried out by the two machines was complex and required them to be on site for more than 1,000 days in all. During the project construction, the team used a number of concrete pumps from other suppliers but these proved unequal to the task. Two 2490 XCMG HB41K truck-mounted concrete pumps have successfully completed construction of box girders for the Nanning-Guangzhou bridge. The work carried out by the two machines was complex and required them to be on site for more than 1,000 days in all.

During the project construction, the team used a number of concrete pumps from other suppliers but these proved unequal to the task. However when the XCMG machines were brought to the site, these proved successful in the application.

The bridge will provide a key transport connection in China, connecting Southwest China with South China.
