Large window panes improve visibilty for operators of Atlas 160 MH

7985 Atlas engineers paid particular attention to the comfort of the operator when recently redesigning the cab of its 160 MH material handler.

A new automatic climate control system keeps the interior temperature comfortable no matter the outside weather. Meanwhile, the redesigned steering system makes steering easier, with fewer wheel turns – and the enhanced lift is sturdier, adding to the operator's comfort and feeling of safety. The cab also features the largest window panes for a machine of its class, claims the company.

The 160 MH has a tail swing of less than 2m, making it suitable for working indoors and in confined spaces. The machine can now also be equipped with a Midi lift that allows the driver to elevate the cab by 1,200mm and, at the same time, tip it backwards by 20 degrees. degrees.for a more comfortable seating postion and clearer view of operation.
