Work begins on Vietnam’s Long Van-Long My road project

Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province. The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.

    In Romania, modernisation of capital Bucharest’s ring road is now due for completion in 2012. The delay has been caused by a lack of funds. Upgrading of the sections between DN7 and DN1A and DN1A (Mogosoaia)and DN1 (Otopeni) started in 2007 and some 51km have been improved so far.
