Volgograd authorities to allot over US$231 million for roads in 2013
The Volgograd region (South) authorities will allot over US$231 million (RUB 7bn) for roads in 2013. A total of $82.64 million will be provided for construction, about $92.56 million for repairing and maintaining regional road facilities.

The Volgograd region (South) authorities will allot over US$231 million (RUB 7bn) for roads in 2013. A total of $82.64 million will be provided for construction, about $92.56 million for repairing and maintaining regional road facilities.
The National Road Maintenance Fund of Vietnam requires over US$332 million (VND 7 trillion) to upgrade and fix roads in 2014, according to Le Hoang Minh, chief of the Fund’s Central Council. Of the total, almost $255.1 million (VND 5.4 trillion) will be used to upgrade and manage national highways, while the remainder will be allotted to cities and provinces to upgrade and maintain roads. Around US$2.21 billion (UAH 18bn) will be invested in road construction and repairs in Ukraine in 2013. According to infrastructure minister Vladimir Kozak, intentional financial institutions will account for around $362.49 million (UAH 3bn) of the total investments. The rest of funds will be raised under state guarantees. The most significant individual project sum of $108.74 million (UAH 900mn) will be allocated to building a bridge in Zaporozhye. St Petersburg’s road building and repair projects could be valued at US $443.15 million (RUB 14.10bn) by the end of 2012, according to Russian daily newspaper Kommersant.
