Volgograd authorities to allot over US$231 million for roads in 2013
The Volgograd region (South) authorities will allot over US$231 million (RUB 7bn) for roads in 2013. A total of $82.64 million will be provided for construction, about $92.56 million for repairing and maintaining regional road facilities.

The state government of New South Wales, Australia will ask the private sector to contribute to the funding of the 33km WestConnex road project. While initial sections of the road will be financed by the state government, its following phase will be financed by the private sector. A total of US $ 91.22 million (PHP 3.8 billion) has been released by the Department of Budget and Management to develop tourism roads nationwide, as well as infrastructure development in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). Of the overall investment, $56.58 million is for the building of roads to tourist destinations, while the remainder of the money will go on developing water systems, bridges, ports, and roads in ARMM.
