Volgograd authorities to allot over US$231 million for roads in 2013
The Volgograd region (South) authorities will allot over US$231 million (RUB 7bn) for roads in 2013. A total of $82.64 million will be provided for construction, about $92.56 million for repairing and maintaining regional road facilities.

The Volgograd region (South) authorities will allot over US$231 million (RUB 7bn) for roads in 2013. A total of $82.64 million will be provided for construction, about $92.56 million for repairing and maintaining regional road facilities.
All three of Moscow’s main airports are to benefit from major upgrades to their road connections. The authorities in the Russian capital have plans to repair and improve eight key connecting roads to Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo airports and with a target date for completion in 2015. The first section of the new Moscow - St Petersburg tolled highway forms part of the new route into Sheremetyevo airport and this is due for completion during 2014. In all some US$5.6 billion will be spent on repairing
Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Tajikistan US$105 million for two key highway projects. Around $82 million, including subsidies of $70 million, will be used to reconstruct the 88km long Vose - Khovaling road. A further $23 million will go on asphalting the Sayron - Karamyk road. On their completion, both highway works are expected to enhance regional economic cooperation and inclusive economic growth in Tajikistan.
