The German 1331 VDMA association for construction equipment and building material machinery is holding road show called Cement + Minerals during May 2013 that will stop in Peru, Chile and Brazil. Seven companies working in the field of cement engineering and mineral processing are joining forces. These companies will invite South American cement manufacturers and extraction industry operators to familiarise themselves with advanced solutions for secondary breaking, thermal treatment, feeding and screening technology, logistics in the cement industry and laboratory techniques.

South America is currently profiting from the high demand from its extractive industries worldwide and this is helping to boost its economic growth. But the industry has to invest in modern equipment in order to be better equipped to convey more material more efficiently. The road show is being organised in co-operation with the relevant local German Chambers of Commerce
