Terex Challenger 3160 crane, live at INTERMAT 2012
1222 Terex Cranes is using Intermat as the launch venue for its new Challenger 3160 all-terrain crane. Terex said the Challenger 3160 is the only fully equipped, three-axle, 55-tonne capacity crane designed for one-man operation.
The new hydrostatic rubber-tyred AP 240 H roller from Ammann is said to set new standards when it comes to ease of use and driveability. Automatic speed control and a gentle start/stop function deliver outstanding results every time. Ammann’s Easy Load ballast system allows fast and easy machine weight adjustment, extending from 9,630kg up to 24 tonnes. The 40.30 MCSS is one of two recently launched Merlo telehandlers being shown at INTERMAT 2012. It features a larger chassis and offers a 30metre lift height with a four tonne capacity, compared to fellow INTERMAT model the ‘Grand’ Roto 60.24 MCSS and its 24metre lift and six tonne capacity.
