1222 Terex Cranes is using Intermat as the launch venue for its new Challenger 3160 all-terrain crane. Terex said the Challenger 3160 is the only fully equipped, three-axle, 55-tonne capacity crane designed for one-man operation.
Shantui’s SR12-5 road roller is the Chinese company’s most exported construction machine model and will be part of its large exhibition at Intermat. Said by Shantui to be designed mainly for use in the middle layers of compacting, it features DANA hydraulic control systems, and comes with a single front-mounted drum.
Terex Finlay has developed the J-1170 primary mobile jaw crusher. Built around the proven 1,100mmx700mm jaw crusher, the machine is intended for primary reduction and product sizing of blasted rock and ore material. The BSC 1409 D from Putzmeister is a self-propelled concrete pump designed specifically for concreting drilled piles on unfinished surfaces. In contrast to using truck-mounted concrete pumps for concreting drilled piles, it does not need supports to be set up each time it changes location. Compared to concreting with a delivery pipe, placement speed with the tracked concrete pump is now said to be considerably higher.
