Terex Cranes appoints new Middle East manager

Terex Cranes is appointing Jörg Müller as senior sales manager Middle East. He will be in charge of leading the Terex Cranes Middle East strategy and day to day activities. Müller joins the company from Aurubis Middle East, a company specialised in fiat rolled products, where he was General Manager and senior sales manager. However he does have extensive experience of the crane sector as prior to that he was Middle East sales manager for Liebherr tower cranes. Carsten von der Geest, VP Sales & Service Crane

2941 Terex Cranes is appointing Jörg Müller as senior sales manager Middle East. He will be in charge of leading the Terex Cranes Middle East strategy and day to day activities. Müller joins the company from Aurubis Middle East, a company specialised in fiat rolled products, where he was General Manager and senior sales manager. However he does have extensive experience of the crane sector as prior to that he was Middle East sales manager for 718 Liebherr tower cranes. Carsten von der Geest, VP Sales & Service Cranes EMEAR said, “Jörg joins us with a wealth of experience in the cranes industry and thorough knowledge of the business in this key market. He will be focused on our customers and make sure we are responsive to their requests.”

  • Terex merger partner Konecranes plans efficiency savings

    Finnish port crane manufacturer Konecranes, which plans to merge with Terex Corporation, said it will make annual cost savings of €25 million by the end of 2017. The company said that while merger talks with US manufacturer Terex continue, it needs to make efficiency savings. Around half of the savings will happen before the end of this year, according to a written statement. Plant down-sizing and closures are a possibility, as well as some streamlining of its product portfolio and its supply chain.
