Serbian highway project

In Serbia the Ministry of Infrastructure has its plans in hand for construction work on the Belgrade-South Adriatic Highway. Contractors will be invited to tender for this €507 million project shortly. The highway will provide an important link for Serbia once it is complete.

  • Work on Serbian highway to be carried out by Chinese company Shandong High Speed Group

    Chinese firm Shandong High Speed Group is to carry out a portion of the construction activity for Serbia’s Corridor 11 highway. The company will commence work on the section between Obrenovac to Ub and from Lajkovac to Ljig shortly. The agreement was signed between the Shandong High Speed Group and the Serbian Government.     A US$780 million eastward extension to Toronto’s major toll highway 407 has opened after four years of construction.
