Moscow ring road project on track

Plans are in hand in Russia for the rebuilding of the capital's key Moscow Ring Road.

Plans are in hand in Russia for the rebuilding of the capital's key Moscow Ring Road. Design work has yet to be completed and when this is ready, construction will commence and this is expected in late 2011. Widening and upgrading the 109km Moscow Ring Road is expected to cost in the order of US$530 million.

Bidders included Spanish firm OHL as well as Besalco Concesiones-Concesiones Viarias Chile Tres and Sacyr Concesiones Chile.
