Construction work is now pushing ahead on key highway connections in China's Shaanxi Province. One of the major projects is for a 79km highway that will link Jia County with Yulin in a deal worth some US$826 million. The project is being managed under the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model.

  • Key highway projects are underway in Henan Province, China

    A total of US$2.42 billion is being invested in five high-speed road projects in China's Henan Province. The highways have a total length of 205km and construction work is already underway. Some $1.2 billion will be spent on the 108km road link between Dengfeng City and Weishi Expressway with a length of around 108km, while $377 million will be invested in a 37km road project connecting Wuxi Expressway and Yuntai Mountain.     The Nepalese Government plans to open a key expressway project to tender. The Ministry of Physical Planning works and Transport Management is inviting bidders to show their interest in the construction of the Kathmandu-Nijgadh-Pathlaiya Terai/Madesh Expressway project.
