Funding from Japan is helping speed construction of a new bypass in Kenya. Alignment considerations are being presented by surveyors working for Jica and KeNHA together with the layout of the final design. The project, which includes a bridge over Mwache creek, is also called the Dongo Kundu bypass. The new link will boost trade between Mombasa and neighbouring Tanzania.
