2254 Dana Rexroth’s HVT R3 is a hydro-mechanical variable transmission for wheeled loaders with engine outputs of up to 265kW and is the first power split transmission from the joint venture between Dana and 2253 Bosch Rexroth
Using a combination of hydrostatic and mechanical drives, the technologically advanced three-range transmission can offer up a fuel saving of up to 20% by delivering a stepless speed range from 0-40km/hr without clutches and without interrupting the drive.
Cleverly, the HVT R3 will allow the operator to preset a maximum travel speed, or preselect a fixed engine rpm and use the transmission’s characteristics to keep the engine working at its most fuel-efficient point.
The MPH 125 soil stabiliser/recycler with innovative Flexmix technology is being launched by Bomag at Intermat. The German company says increasing requirements in soil engineering are requiring maximum flexibility from soil stabilisation and cold recycling units, and believes its new Flemix technology is setting unprecedented standards in mix quality on all applications worldwide. An optional change in the mix function provides a range of practical options which, according to Bomag, has never been available
Launched at INTERMAT in prototype form, the SV100-1 is now Yanmar’s largest excavator. Tipping the scales at 10.3tonnes, the reduced tailswing midi excavator gets a two-piece boom and additional counterweight. Powered by a 54.7kW 4TNV98T engine, the excavator offers a 4.48m dig depth, sits on 450mm wide rubber tracks, and measures 2.3m wide. A fourth auxiliary circuit is available as an option.
