The new piling clamp from French firm Fayat allows piles to be placed efficiently and accurately
2779 Fayat Group has developed the Tiltex swivelling clamp for sheet pile handling. Specifically designed for excavator-mounted Vibrodrivers, the Tiltex clamp improves the handling of sheet piles and the productivity on piling projects. Using the clamp, operators can grab sheet piles stored on the ground and drive them directly without any other handling operations. Fayat said the clamp is equally as productive when removing sheet piles.
The 1500SJ is said by manufacturers JLG to be the first straight boom lift that elevates operators to 45.72metres and requires only a weight permit for transport. The telescoping jib, which can extend up to 7.62metres, provides flexibility and what is said to be “exceptional” horizontal and vertical reach. As with all JLG Ultra Booms, the 1500SJ delivers dual 450kg/230kg capacity and three steering modes. Haulotte has introduced the Compact C10DX and C12DX rough terrain scissors lifts. Powered by a Stage IIIB Kubota engine, the machines produce lower noise levels and use 5% less fuel than previous models. The C10DX offers a maximum working height of 10.15m, while the larger C12DX has a 12.15m working height.
