The new piling clamp from French firm Fayat allows piles to be placed efficiently and accurately
2779 Fayat Group has developed the Tiltex swivelling clamp for sheet pile handling. Specifically designed for excavator-mounted Vibrodrivers, the Tiltex clamp improves the handling of sheet piles and the productivity on piling projects. Using the clamp, operators can grab sheet piles stored on the ground and drive them directly without any other handling operations. Fayat said the clamp is equally as productive when removing sheet piles.
Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems, the joint venture Dana and Bosch Rexroth, is to launch the R2 hydromechanical variable transmission (HVT). Finnish company REMU is keen for its Big Float 800 floating excavator to be a splash hit following its launch this week at INTERMAT. The amphibious machine weighs in at 12,500kg and can be transported even with three-axel trucks. With a boom length of 7.7m and digging depth of 4.1m the Big Float 800, like REMU’s other Big Float models, is completely floating and can be brought to a job site by land using its tracks or towed or driven with propellers along waterways.
