Dana shows HVT R3 at INTERMAT

Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems’ HVT R3 is the first of a series of hydro-mechanical variable transmissions resulting from the 50-50 joint venture between Dana and Bosch Rexroth AG. The R3 is for wheeled loaders with engine outputs of up to 265kW and uses a combination of hydrostatic and mechanical drives to offer fuel savings of up to 20%. RSS2254 Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems’ HVT R3 is the first of a series of hydro-mechanical variable transmissions resulting from the 50-50 joint venture between Dana and 2253 Bosch Rexroth AG.

The R3 is for wheeled loaders with engine outputs of up to 265kW and uses a combination of hydrostatic and mechanical drives to offer fuel savings of up to 20%.

Cleverly, the HVT R3 will allow the operator to preset a maximum travel speed, or preselect a fixed engine rpm and use the transmission’s characteristics to keep the engine working at its most fuel-efficient point.

Effer is extending its product range with the addition of the new 525 models. Aimed at the medium-large capacity class, the 525 models are said to offer the best power-to-weight ratio in their class. High lift capacity is claimed due to the use of new materials, which help boost structural strength. Sophisticated electronics help deliver precise operation as well as high operating speeds. According to Effer, the advanced electronics used in the Progress control package maximise working efficiency. At INTERM

    January 6, 2017
The Warrior 2400 is the largest machine in Powerscreen’s Warrior range and is designed for large-scale operators in the quarrying and mining sectors. It is capable of handling larger feed sizes and has an output potential of up to 800tonnes per hour. It features a heavy-duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, lending it to screening, scalping, two or three-way splitting and stockpiling materials like aggregates, topsoil, coal, construction, demolition waste and iron ore.
