Consortium will handle major road project in Western Australia

In Western Australia a series of road works will be carried out by the Gateway WA Consortium. The Federal Government is funding US$699 million (A$686 million) of the work, which involves improvements to the interchange at the Tonkin-Roe Highways junction, widening the Tonking Highway to six lanes and also improving the Leach Highway. The consortium comprises Leighton Contractors, AECOM, Georgiou, BG&E and GHD.

In Western Australia a series of road works will be carried out by the Gateway WA Consortium. The Federal Government is funding US$699 million (A$686 million) of the work, which involves improvements to the interchange at the Tonkin-Roe Highways junction, widening the Tonking Highway to six lanes and also improving the Leach Highway.
