ICOET is the said to be the leading interdisciplinary, interagency supported conference addressing the broad range of ecological issues related to transportation systems in all modes. The event is attracting experts in transportation development, related scientific study, policy issues, and administrative processes from around the world.

The ICOET 2017 programme includes podium presentations, posters, field trips, and exhibits on topics of interest to researchers, biologists, transportation engineers, planners, project managers, administrators, and policy makers. Hundreds of professionals, representing national and state governments, Tribal and Indigenous governments, academia, non-government organisations, and private industry from more than 20 countries.
