Bosnia highway bidding process open

Bids are now being offered for a major highway project in Bonsia. This follows the opening of the tender process for the project by Bosnian highway company Autoputevi Republike Srpske (ARS). The project is located in the autonomous entity Republika Srpska and is for construction of the Doboj-Vukosavlje highway. The project will be carried out under the public and private partnership model and will form part of the European Corridor Vc. The package includes financing, construction, management and maintenance

Bids are now being offered for a major highway project in Bonsia. This follows the opening of the tender process for the project by Bosnian highway company 1552 Autoputevi Republike Srpske (ARS). The project is located in the autonomous entity Republika Srpska and is for construction of the Doboj-Vukosavlje highway. The project will be carried out under the public and private partnership model and will form part of the European Corridor Vc. The package includes financing, construction, management and maintenance of a total of 46.6km of the new highway. The project will be carried out in two phases. Bidders will be required to submit a guarantee of €500,000 while the tender will be open until 12 October 2012. The total project value is estimated from €260-350 million.

    In Mexico the tender process is being developed for a major new highway project. The US$466.5 million highway project will be built under the PPP model. The 83km route will provide an improved connection between Las Varas, Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta. The country's Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT) is preparing the tender at present.
