Bosnia building highway

Work on the Pocitelj-Bijaca section of Bosnia's new Corridor Vc highway is due to begin in September of this year.

Work on the Pocitelj-Bijaca section of Bosnia's new Corridor Vc highway is due to begin in September of this year. A consortium comprising GP ZGP, Hidrogradnja and Euroasfalt will carry out the project. Approcal for the work was given by Bosnia's Federal Ministry of Urban Planning and the client is highway company 3226 JP Autoceste Federacije BiH. The size of the deal has not been revealed at this stage however.

    Plans for work to a 150km section of the Corridor Vc highway in Bosnia will commence in 2012. Construction of 45km of the highway will be financed by the Government of Federal Bosnia, while the remaining 110km is due to be financed by foreign investors. The cost of the project has not been revealed at this stage. The plans were announced by Bosnia’s Ministry of Urban Planning.
