Bids welcomed for Chile Route D 43 road concession

The Ministry of Public Works of Chile has opened the bids for the near US $ 227 million (CLP 109.39bn) Route D 43 road concession in Chile. Sacyr Concesiones are reported to have submitted the best offer. The road concession goes between La Serena and Ovalle.

    The number of journeys on privatised motorways in Chile will increase 23% to 70million a year by 2015, according to the Ministry of Public Works (MOP).     Croatian media are reporting a dispute between two consortia and that of the China Road and Bridges over the Peljeski bridge project.
