A new technology developed by the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland provides drivers with warnings of black ice on the roads. This automatic detection system will warn a driver in advance that a road is dangerous due to the presence of ice. South Korean capital Seoul is introducing special parking places intended specifically for use by female drivers only. These parking spaces are slightly wider and longer than conventional parking spaces and are also better lit. This is an integrated product that combines the IDI Intelligent Control NTCIP system with the Delcan advanced transportation applications of NETworks.
