3713 Allison transmission aims to retain its strong position in the transmission market with its latest array of products. Key machines featuring Allison transmissions will include equipment from Astra, 7228 Hino, 2796 Mercedes, 1241 Randon and 2740 Perlini. The Mercedes Zetros 1833 is a novel 4x4 underground mining tractor, while 1240 Bell is showing its new B25E and B30E articulated dump trucks, all of which are equipped with the latest Allison 3000 Series fully automatic transmissions. Rigid truck transmissions from Allison will be fitted to the 1222 Terex TR40 and TR60 and Perlini DP705 machines. 2409 Iveco’s new Astra HHD9 is equipped with Allison’s 4700R transmission, which replaces the former HHD8 unit.
From Bell Equipment comes a special version of its B30 truck in the shape of a 4x4 version of the B30D. Introduced as part of the firm’s VersaTruck programme, the 4x4 version of the B30D has been developed for a range of applications such as use in underground tunnel construction and underground mining, or quarrying. A 4x4 version of Mitsubishi’s Canter light truck premiered at INTERMAT on the stand of its sister company Mercedes Benz, which distributes the vehicles in Europe. The 6.5tonne GVW vehicle is fitted with a transfer box that diverts half of the torque to the front wheels at the touch of a button and can be engaged while still on the move.

Anaconda Equipment International will have two products on display at its first bauma: the DF410 tracked screener and a TR60 18m track-mounted stockpiling conveyor. The DF410 entry level screener can screen and stockpile up to 250tonnes/hour of material into three sizes, and is said to be ideal for those restricted by working area in urban areas.
