Power Curbers is expanding its range of concrete slipformers to meet customer demand. President of the company is Stephen Bullock and he explained that the firm is now offering a new version of its successful 5700-D slipformer aimed particularly at customers in Europe.

The existing 5700-D model runs on three tracks but the new 5700-D4 is a four track machine. Bullock said, “This is just to reach that market that wants a four track machine.”

Wirtgen’s improved stringless concrete paving system is being used on the A43 highway near Münster in Germany. 
The AutoPilot 2.0 is a 3D control system that helps increase efficiency and safety. The system is being used to deliver a new poured in-place concrete safety barrier that will separate the eastbound and westbound lanes of the A 43 Autobahn.

Egyptian firm Rsquared Construction has been using a Lintec CSD2500B asphalt plant to assist with material supply for a road project in the south of the country. The Lintec CSD2500B plant’s first task was to supply material for a short but important road link. The firm, Rsquared Construction, selected the model for its ease of transport and low fuel consumption.
