Terex Trucks has used bauma 2016 to launch its new Stage IV-compliant TA400 ADT. Weighing in at 38tonnes, the TA400 is the first and the largest of the company’s new generation 10 articulated dump trucks. The Volvo CE-owned manufacturer has added a new cab and the Scania engine uses the latest generation Selective Catalytic Reduction.

Trimble Loadrite’s new H2250 Haul Truck Monitor is part of the company’s vision for the connected quarry, collecting information centrally on a cloud-based platform to give its users a holistic overview. The system monitors (amongst other things) load weights, vehicle activity patterns, cycle times and data from the production plant to keep everything under control.

Ammann has a developed a transport-optimised compact concrete plant that can be delivered in two open-topped shipping containers. Because it is pre-assembled with built-in electrics, the plant can be erected very quickly. It should appeal to markets such as North Africa, South East Asia and Russia says Ammann where it closely matches demand patterns.
