XCMG develops new telehandler and crane

XCMG is broadening its range of lifting machines with the introduction of a new telehandler and a new crane. The XC6-4517 telehandler has been developed in-house and is now being exported, with units having been supplied to Qatar. 2490 XCMG is broadening its range of lifting machines with the introduction of a new telehandler and a new crane. The XC6-4517 telehandler has been developed in-house and is now being exported, with units having been supplied to Qatar.

Although based on existing models, the new XC6-4517 features better ergonomics and a new FOP and ROPS cab that offers good all-round visibility. High off-road performance is claimed while the machine is also manoeuvrable, with a minimum turning radius of 3.8m. The machine is designed to be robust and durable, allowing it to cope with tough site conditions. Meanwhile it is also designed for ease of maintenance and servicing, so as to reduce downtime.

XCMG’s new 55tonne capacity telescopic crawler crane is said to benefit from the firm’s experience in constructing truck cranes and crawler cranes. The machine offers a maximum rated lifting capacity of 55tonnes and features a boom with a maximum extension of 41m. Benefits include its high lifting capacity, wide range of working applications and mobility. It can be used in a wide range of construction and extraction applications, such as for building large structures.
