Russian manufacturer Chetra is broadening its line-up of skid steer loaders with the addition of the MKSM-1200 and MKSM-1400 models. These machines share features with the existing MKSM-800 and MKSM-1000 skid steer loaders. The MKSM-1200 is powered by a Hatz diesel and offers a payload capacity of 1.2tonnes, while the top of the range MKSM-1400 has a 1.4tonne capacity and is driven by a Cummins diesel. The MKSM-1200 is powered by a Hatz diesel and offers a payload capacity of 1.2tonnes, while the top of the range MKSM-1400 has a 1.4tonne capacity and is driven by a 196 Cummins diesel. A novel feature of the MKSM-1200 and MKSM-1400 however is a modular design that allows customers to specify different engines if required. Existing attachments that fit the firm's MKSM-800 can also be used on the two new larger models
