5895 New Holland says that its E10SR mini excavator offers high performance in a compact package. The machine is the smallest in the range and features a hydraulic swing offset boom, as well as a short tailswing. The machine has an adjustable crawler width with a minimum size of 750mm, allowing it pass through 900mm doorways while the extended width of 980mm provides stability when working. Compact and easy to transport, the machine has an improved dozer blade system that helps improve loading and unloading, while lifting eyes mean the unit can be hoisted with a sling onto a vehicle or rooftop. Low-effort levers provide smooth operation as well as precise control and response. Access for servicing for the hydraulics or engine has been improved over previous models with an engine cover that opens fully. A rugged and durable structure is said to ensure long working life and protection of any vulnerable components, even on tough working sites.

The weight distribution in Bobcat’s new E25 reduced tail swing (RTS) compact excavator is said to be optimised through the use of proven ‘4-plate box’ technology to reduce he weight of the workgroup, which moves the centre of gravity of the machine towards the back of the excavator. As a result, the E25 does not require any additional counterweight. This enhances the stability and ensures that the E25 model can be transported by trailer more easily.
