262 Komatsu Europe claims improved performance and versatility for its new WB93R‐8 backhoe loader. This is the first model of a new range in line with EU Stage IV emission regulations.

Upgrades for the new backhoe loaders include better visibility and increased productivity. The new WB93R‐8 has an operating weight of 8.1tonnes, with power from a fuel efficient, Stage IV compliant 2300 Komatsu SAA4D99E‐1 diesel delivering 75kW. It has a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) after‐treatment system using AdBlue, which reduces NOx emissions.

The versatile machine benefits from Komatsu’s proven Closed Load Sensing System in its hydraulics. Features include a Return to Dig function, a differential lock and a selectable floating function for the loader.
