Komatsu launches short tailswings

Compact, powerful and productive, Komatsu's PC55MR-3 is said to deliver high performance and is now available in the European market. The machine offers operating weights from 5.28-5.35tonnes depending on specification and features a short tailswing allowing it to operate in space restricted areas. Power comes from an emissions compliant Komatsu 4D88E-6 engine delivering 28.5kW.

Compact, powerful and productive, 2300 Komatsu's PC55MR-3 is said to deliver high performance and is now available in the European market.

The machine offers operating weights from 5.28-5.35tonnes depending on specification and features a short tailswing allowing it to operate in space restricted areas. Power comes from an emissions compliant Komatsu 4D88E-6 engine delivering 28.5kW.

As with other MR-3 excavators, the PC55MR-3 offers high comfort and a spacious cab with good visibility and ergonomic controls. The machine is available with either long or short arm, cab or canopy, rubber, steel or road liner shoes. It features Komatsu's CLSS hydraulic system for high performance, productivity and control.

New optional fingertip controls offer improved versatility and controllability. The machine is said to be easy to service and features Komatsu's KOMTRAX Satellite Monitoring System as standard on the PC55MR-3. Machine data is easily accessible over the internet and allows owners or fleet managers to view the machines location, performance and service requirements.
