Kobelco’s mini excavator addition to the range

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe (KCME) is now offering its smallest excavator to the European market. The SK08, which has an operating weight of just 1,035kg, is a super-compact mini excavator that is suited for use in confined areas such as in demolition or tunnelling works.

2200 Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe (KCME) is now offering its smallest excavator to the European market. The SK08, which has an operating weight of just 1,035kg, is a super-compact mini excavator that is suited for use in confined areas such as in demolition or tunnelling works.

With its 7.7kW diesel, the machine is said to be clean running and fuel efficient, while it delivers a 10,000kN digging force. Key features include boom  and dozer cylinder protection, a tailswing radius of 725mm and an overhang of 305mm. Measuring 680mm wide, the machine can be driven through doorways while it offers a 2.83m digging reach and a 1.46m digging depth.
