236 Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) will put on an extensive display of equipment, which includes the first public showing in Italy of the latest 9 Series excavators, and the introduction of three completely new compact, short tailswing models (6tonne, 8tonne and 23tonne).

Hyundai's range of mini excavators up to 5tonnes operating weight has already been enhanced with the introduction of new 9 Series models, including the 2.7tonne and 3.5tonne zero tailswing models. Now the midi-size range up to 13tonne has been extended with the two new short tail-swing models, weighing 6tonnes and 8tonnes.

Hyundai has also extended its ranges of excavators and wheel-loaders at the 'heavy' end, with bulk earthmoving, mining and quarrying duties in mind, and including the introduction of face-shovel versions. With the introduction of the new compact 23.5tonne model with short tailswing, versatility of the range has been further increased, especially for digging and loading in congested or confined site applications.

In conjunction with the introduction of the new 9 Series, Hyundai is also making available its advanced GPS-based remote management system, Hi-Mate, the live, factory-fitted monitoring system, which allows owners and operators to know the exact location of the machine at any time.
