Bobcat is rolling out its S650 skid-steer loader, said to be the first of a new generation of machines. This unit offers a vertical lift path and has an operating weight of 3.8tonnes, a rated operating capacity of 1.2tonnes and a tipping load of 2.44tonnes. Innovative features include a new cab located in a forward position, boosting all-round visibility by 30%. The S650 has a height of just over 2m, a width of 1.88m, length with bucket of 3.5m and a bucket hinge pin height of 3.15m.

1130 Bobcat is rolling out its S650 skid-steer loader, said to be the first of a new generation of machines. This unit offers a vertical lift path and has an operating weight of 3.8tonnes, a rated operating capacity of 1.2tonnes and a tipping load of 2.44tonnes. Innovative features include a new cab located in a forward position, boosting all-round visibility by 30%. The S650 has a height of just over 2m, a width of 1.88m, length with bucket of 3.5m and a bucket hinge pin height of 3.15m. Benefits include an increase in power and hydraulic performance, boosting productivity, attachment performance and faster cycle times. Power comes from a Kubota diesel delivering 55.4kW and which meets Stage IIIA emissions requirements. Traction increased by 15-20% for greater pushing and digging power while the machine offers improved durability and increased uptime, as well as simplified maintenance and servicing. The machine is offered with a maximum travel speed of 19.8km/h as well as high-flow hydraulics and two-speed options
