It’s 10 new 1130 Bobcat E19 compact excavators for Stavebniny DEK, a major building materials and equipment rental company in the Czech capital Prague. DEK has been developing a 60-branch nationwide rental network and now has an annual turnover of around €420 million, said Michal Svejcar, director of the DEK rental service.

Local Bobcat dealer Bobcat CZ supplied the machines whose options include the ability to hydraulically retract its undercarriage to a width of less than 1m to travel through restricted and narrow areas. There is also a Lehnhoff MS01 quick-coupler system. The E19 excavators have a heated cab, a radio, an extended arm, wide blades, a suspension seat and keyless ignition.

The E19s rolled off the production line at the Bobcat plant in Dobříš in the Czech Republic already finished in the custom red livery and logos of the DEK rental fleet.

British Railways has big plans. Trains on the first 220 km from London Euston Station to Birmingham could be travelling at a speed of 360 km/h (225 mph) in as little as 10 years. The earthworks required for this are to be completed by as early as 2025. The project is considered one of the largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects in recent British history. It must meet the highest possible construction quality standards and evolve over the course of the project - setting new standards today and for tomorrow. The deployment of innovative BOMAG technologies and machines is therefore logical and consistent.
