3218 Weber MT says that its CR6H reversible soil compactor is highly versatile and can work in trenches or on backfills, in road construction or civil engineering.

Efficiency is maximised with the optional COMPATROL compaction control system, which can reduce compaction passes by up to 25%. The unit comes with a standard operating width of 600mm but can be reduced to 450mm or extended to 700mm. Driven by a Hatz diesel the unit delivers a centrifugal force of 50kN, while a hydraulic, infinitely variable shifter is provided for forward and reverse travel. This compactor has low-vibration handles that are heightadjustable to reduce hand/arm vibration and boost operating comfort. Operating weight is 412kg and the unit has a sturdy protection frame with closed top to protect the engine against external damage or dirt. The optional COMPATROL-CCD and -MSM control variants ensure uniform compaction of soil. The system identifies when the soil is sufficiently compacted, while the MSM variant includes a machine and service management tool.
