Compact loader options from Caterpillar

Caterpillar is offering customers an array of compact tracked loader and skid steer loaders options.

Improved stability is a key feature of Caterpillar’s improved D3 compact tracked loader models

There are now 16 new D3 Series skid steer loader (SSL) and compact tracked loader (CTL) models. The firm says that its new machines offer improvements in features such as stability, while maintaining the durability and reliability of the earlier D2 models. The D3 Series models also can be used with a new line of Smart Attachments. This technology can recognise attachments and tailor the controls and operator The new D3 Series loaders are equipped with an enclosed cab and have improved controls and drivelines, increasing travel speeds. The machines offer advanced attachment technology, which the firm claims will allow the D3 Series Cat SSL and CTL models to automatically recognise Smart Attachments and convert machine controls to align with the operational and informational needs of that attachment.

High performance XE variants are also available to operate attachments with high flow requirements, such as planers.
