New hand-held hydraulic tools that are portable and versatile are available from 6097 Chicago Pneumatic.

The line-up includes two petrol and two diesel-driven power packs, a 12kg pick hammer, five breakers weighing from 18-33kg, two cut-off saws, two sizes of core drills and submersible pumps.

These models come in addition to the proven pneumatic tool range and the hydraulic units are said to be easy to transport.

A power pack and breaker or another tool is small enough to fit in the back of a service van. Another advantage with hydraulic tools is that they work in a closed circuit, preventing dust and dirt ingress and providing lubrication.
