Caterpillar's TH514 telehandler offers a load capacity of 5tonnes
178 Caterpillar's rugged, reliable and durable TH514 telehandler offers a load capacity of 5tonnes, lift height of 13.7m and a forward reach of 9.2m. The machine has load-sensing, flow-sharing hydraulics that allow all three boom functions to be operated simultaneously and proportionally. Power comes from a 74.5kW Cat C4.4 diesel that meets Tier 3/Stage IIIA emission regulations. As standard, a limited slip differential fitted in the front axle allows the 11tonne machine to work in tough conditions. A range of Cat work tools is available and a high visibility manual IT coupler comes as standard, with the option of a hydraulic quick coupler to allow work tool changes without leaving the cab.

The cab layout has been improved with better visibility and single lever joystick controls. A longitudinal stability indicator for the machine's forward stability monitors load safety.

Caterpillar says that for 2017 it has further refined its F-Series wheeled excavators – from the M314F to the M322F - and wheeled material handlers MH3022 and MH3024. The M314F and M316F wheeled excavators are fitted with the Cat C4.4 ACERT engine while the M318F, M320F, and M322F use the C7.1 ACERT engine. New for these machines is a system that adjusts engine speed to match speed demands during travels. The system provides the exact level of power required for varying road situations, resulting in redu
