These compact radius wheeled excavators are in addition to the conventional radius F series models, while offering compact design. The firm says that the new machines offer high performance, power and stability, featuring large working envelopes, high breakout forces, and high lifting capacities.

The firm has developed these compact radius models with a wide range of configurations, including undercarriage options, stick lengths, and boom types to fit specific applications. The offset boom allows digging adjacent to walls and structures, grading while driving, and digging under existing utilities without damage. The variable adjustable boom, which offers optimum right-side visibility and roading balance, is the best option for heavy lifting.

Wide steering angles and optimum turning radius facilitate manoeuvring and simplify repositioning the machine. Available joystick steering further eases manoeuvring, allowing operators to keep both hands on the joysticks and continue working, even when moving the machine.

The M315F and M317F are designed as tool carriers and allow operators to change attachments in seconds from the cab. The tool control interface allows programming the machines for up to 10 different flow and pressure settings for use with a wide range of work tools.

The 112kW Cat C4.4 ACERT engine meets Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emissions standards and integrates an emission aftertreatment system that requires no attention other than periodically replenishing the diesel exhaust fluid tank.

For effective fleet management, the machines come with the Cat LINK technologies, such as the Product Link telemetrics system. Product Link data can be accessed through the online VisionLink interface.

The M314F and M316F wheeled excavators are fitted with the Cat C4.4 ACERT engine while the M318F, M320F, and M322F use the C7.1 ACERT engine. New for these machines is a system that adjusts engine speed to match speed demands during travels. The system provides the exact level of power required for varying road situations, resulting in redu
