This will be one of the country’s largest PPP projects to date and is expected to cost around US$728 million. The project is being handled by a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corp (MPIC). Australian firm 2474 Leighton Holdings will build the north eastern end of the expressway and DMCI Consunji will build the south western end of the route. The construction work is expected to take until 2020 to complete while the concession period for the route runs until 2050.
