Renovating Russian route from St Petersburg region to Karelia Republic

Rebuilding the A-121 route connecting St Petersburg with Sortavala in the Karelia Republic will commence soon. The project is costing US$118.5 million. The work will be carried out over a 20km stretch of the highway and involves widening the roadway so that it features two lanes in either direction.     Plans are underway to widen a stretch of the Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD) around St Petersburg in Russia.
