Montenegro bridge project being planned

Funding worth €155 million will be required for a new bridge project for Montenegro. The project is for the construction of the Verige Bridge, which will provide a new link at the Bay of Kotor. The bridge will connect with Tivat Airport and is also intended to form a section of the Adriatic Highway, which is part of the E65 Trans-European route.     The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing a loan worth €145 million that will help fund a key highway project in Slovenia. The loan is being given to the Slovenian state highway company DARS for the project to construct a 13km section of the Drazenci to Gruskovje highway. The total cost of the project is €303.4 million.     Serbia has managed to reduce the cost of building the Corridor 10 highway by €80 million. These funds will instead be used to pay for upgrades and improvements needed for the second section of the highway project, close to Neradovci.
