Indonesia road projects being planned

Three toll road projects are being planned in Indonesia. Financing for the projects is being provided through the Indonesia Infrastructure Guarantee. In all, the three projects are worth a total of US$2.17 billion. The toll roads are from Tebing Tinggi to Parapat, from Cileunyi-Sumedang to Dawuan and from Serang to Panimbang. The contracts are expected to be signed in March 2017.

    The Indonesian Public Works Ministry is funding the first phase of work on a new toll road using a Chinese loan. The US$106.4 million loan will fund work for the first section of the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) section II toll road.     Indonesian road firm Jasa Marga will fund work on a major toll road project using a loan from state lenders, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Sumatera Utara (Bank Sumut).
