China’s road development continues in Guizhou Province

China’s Guizhou Province is carrying out a major programme of road network expansion and development works. In all the plan calls for the construction of 97,000km of rural roads, which are being built in a bid to boost connectivity. Funding is being provided by the Bank of Guizhou and Bank of Guiyang in the shape of a series of loans.

    The Chinese Province of Guizhou has a plan to construct no less than 32 new highways, with the construction work expected to be complete by 2022. In all the new highways will measure a total length of 2,428km. Work is starting in 2016 on three of the highways, which will total 222km in all.
