China agrees road project funding with Serbia

Funding for a stretch of the Belgrade ring road project will now be delivered by Chinese sources. The €207 million deal has been agreed between the Serbian Ministry of Construction and the Power Construction Corporation of China. This funding will help with the completion of the 20km ringoad project as a portion of the work has already been carried out.

    Financing has been found to fund road construction work in Germany. In all some €2.1 billion has been sourced by the German Government to help pay for 24 road upgrade and construction projects in the country. Of this funding stream some €314 million is being utilised by the southern German state of Bavaria.
