Bosnia-Serbia highway project faces delays

Delays look set to hold back construction work on the planned highway that will connect Bosnia with Serbia. The route will join Bosnia’s capital Sarajevo with Bosnia’s capital Belgrade when it is complete.

Delays look set to hold back construction work on the planned highway that will connect Bosnia with Serbia. The route will join Bosnia’s capital Sarajevo with Bosnia’s capital Belgrade when it is complete. Further discussions will be carried out between the authorities in Bosnia and Serbia in due course to try to cement the plans for the highway. Funding for the project could be supplied, in part at least, from Turkey.

  • Bosnia project moves forward

    Plans for work to a 150km section of the Corridor Vc highway in Bosnia will commence in 2012. Construction of 45km of the highway will be financed by the Government of Federal Bosnia, while the remaining 110km is due to be financed by foreign investors.
